 January 13, 2012-Derrick Rose Scores 25 points as the Chicago Bulls thump the Boston Celtics on the road by a score of 88-79. The Bulls are now 11-2 on the young 2011-12 NBA season as they battled Boston tonight IN Boston. The Bulls were smacking the Celtics around for most of the ball game as they were leading by 20 points most of the way.But Ray Allen and the Celtics fought back to cut Chicago's lead to one point. But last year's MVP stepped up with some huge, circus shots. On one of his shots, Derrick Rose drove to the basket and flipped the ball over his shoulder for a spectacular hoop as the Bulls held on and won the game.

Derrick Rose rookie cards are huge sellers on eBay these days. A quick look at some "Completed" auctions verifies this fact. One of the Derrick Rose rookie cards that caught my eye was this 2008-09 SPX Jersey Auto rookie of the Chicago Bulls young super star. It sold for $417.05. Another "Completed" eBay auction was this beauty, a Derrick Rose 2008-09 Exquisite Rookie Auto patch Graded BGS 8.5 that sold for an impressive $3,250! Even his Topps Chrome rookie issues command a premium price right now, like this Derrick Rose 2008-09 Topps Chrome Orange Refractor, numbered to only 499 produced, sold for $162.25 respectively.
And prices may go up even higher if Derrick Rose and the Bulls go on and win the NBA title this year. Derrick Rose rookie cards may be the smartest investment that any basketball card collector can make right now, imo.
